DMV center in Hudson closed on Monday The Department of Motor Vehicles customer service center in Hudson along will all other state DMV centers and phone centers will be closed on Monday for staff training, according to DMV officials. "Ongoing staff training is essential to keep up with changes in technology, policies and procedures," said Kristina Boardman, director of DMV's Bureau of Field Services. Training will be held for front-line customer service representatives in technical process and procedural updates. Boardman said that Oct. 13 (Columbus Day) was selected for the statewide training because it is a federal holiday, which typically reduces the number of customers visiting service centers.
