Hudson -- Emerald man charged in child sex assault A sexual assault of a child charge was filed Dec. 3 against Jose A. Peralta-Velaquez, 42, Emerald. Peralta-Velazuez is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl several times between Aug. 1 and Sept. 1 in the town of Emerald. The criminal complaint said Peralta-Velaquez worked at the Emerald Dairy at the time of the incident. When he was confronted about the encounters by the girl's mother he moved out of his apartment and his whereabouts are unknown. The victim found out that Peralta-Velaquez had a wife in Mexico after he had allegedly told her he wanted her to be his girlfriend. Published 13:53 Dec-08-09 | TOP |
