Hudson -- Felony filed in dog abuse incident A Hudson man is scheduled to face a felony charge at an initial appearance Feb. 1 for causing the death of a dog New Year's Day. One count of mistreatment of animals causing death was filed against Michael J. Wondra, 25, Wednesday in St. Croix County Circuit Court. Wondra was arrested and booked into jail on Jan. 1 after a neighbor reported the dog yelping and noticed blood on the dog's posterior and a spoon ladle sticking out of the dog's anus, a sheriff's report said.
