Somerset write-ins win seats on Village Board With just one candidate on the ballot in the Village of Somerset, officials knew two write-in candidates would be voted onto the Village Board during Tuesday's election. After the final vote tally was in, the only official candidate Ryan Sicard received 304 votes (incumbent). Bartt Palmer 24 votes had the next highest vote total and Ron Hill had 22 votes. Both of the write-in candidates have accepted their positions. Write-in candidate Barry Breault received 20 votes and Ryan Halverson had 5 votes. Published 17:00 Apr-02-08 | TOP |
