New Richmond, Star Prairie Scouts plan April 26 food drive Scouting groups in New Richmond and Star Prairie will be doing a food drive Saturday, April 26. Scouts will be putting plastic bags on door handles previous to Saturday, April 19. They ask that residents fill the bags with non-perishable food items that they are willing to donate and place them on their front steps before 9 a.m. on Saturday. Scouts will be going door- to-door picking up the food items. All collections will go to the Five Loaves Food Shelf. The Scouts want to thank the community in advance for their support.
