St. Croix agricultural agent Lee Milligan dead at 55 BALDWIN -- St. Croix County's agricultural agent, Lee Milligan, passed away Jan. 9. Milligan, 55, had been in hospitalized at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire since Jan. 1 following an appendectomy and then surgery to correct a twisted bowel. According to a message distributed by UW-Extension Monday, Milligan's condition deteriorated and he died Saturday evening. In his role as agent, Milligan has worked with county farmers for many years. Milligan, a Baldwin resident, is survived by his wife, Debra and daughters, Kari and Krista.
