Accident near Maiden Rock leaves one injured A single-vehicle accident Thursday on County Road S about half a mile east of Maiden Rock left one person with undetermined injuries. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department was notified of the accident at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Officers who arrived at the scene found the driver ejected from the vehicle. According to the sheriff's department, the vehicle rolled over, ejecting the person, rolled back onto its wheels and then continued about 300 feet into a field.
