Man dies in weekend crash south of Ellsworth A Hager City man was pronounced dead at Regions Hospital in St. Paul after he was airlifted from the scene of a one-vehicle accident in Pierce County. According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, at around 2:05 a.m. Monday Aaron Anderson, 21, was driving a 1996 Ford Taurus southbound on 710th Street, just south of 450th Avenue, when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck some trees. The Ellsworth Ambulance Service and Ellsworth Fire Department responded to the scene and Anderson was airlifted to Regions Hospital via Life Link III helicopter.
