Three taken to an area hospital following accident near Ellsworth A collision between two vehicles just outside of Ellsworth resulted in a teenager and two women being taken to an area hospital. The accident occurred at around 10:55 a.m. today (Tuesday) in front of the Cross Roads Community Church, N5591 Highway 10, just west of Ellsworth. According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Emily Arnold, 16, Bay City, was driving a vehicle when she failed to yield when she turned east on Highway 10 while pulling out of the church's driveway. Arnold's car pulled into a car driven by Alicia Burns, 20, Lake City, Minn., which was heading westbound. Both Burns and Arnold were taken to the Fairview Red Wing (Minn.) Medical Center by the Ellsworth Ambulance Service, along with Jenny Salewski, 18, who was a passenger in Arnold's vehicle. All three were treated and then released.
