Mondovi woman dies in car accident A Mondovi woman died Wednesday as a result of a head-on collision on State Highway 40 in the town of Elk Mound. Jennifer Annis, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene by the assistant Dunn County Medical Examiner. Dunn County Sheriff Dennis Smith reported that at 9:17 a.m., Annis was northbound when she crossed into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Donald Maul, 60, S. Sioux City, Neb. Maul was taken to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire with what is being called non life threatening injuries. Smith added the crash remains under investigation. Published 09:46 Oct-08-09 | TOP |
