Teen hit by pickup truck near Ellsworth An Ellsworth teenager was injured when he was struck by a Pierce County Highway Department pickup truck Wednesday morning. Jerad Grenstein, age 16, suffered a bump on his head and a knee injury, according to information from the Ellsworth Police Department. Grenstein was transported by the Ellsworth Ambulance Service to River Falls Area Hospital, where he was being treated and was to be released, a hospital staff member said later Wednesday. The pickup truck was driven by Kim Greske, 58, of Ellsworth. The accident happened on Hwy. 65 in the village. No further details were available; an investigation was continuing Wednesday.
