UPDATED: Man airlifted to Regions Hospital following Saturday accident The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accident involving two men from Clintonville, Wis., Saturday evening. Officials say that the one-vehicle rollover accident happened at around 7:45 p.m. on Pierce County E just about a quarter-mile south of 690th Street. The vehicle's passenger, Kyle Kaczorowski, 25, was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. He was taken to the River Falls Area Hospital by the River Falls Ambulance Service, but was then airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul by Life Link II helicopter. On Monday morning Kaczorowski was listed in critical condition, according to a Regions' Hospital spokesperson. The vehicle's driver, Nathan Lawson, 25, was taken to the River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries. A hospital spokesman says he was treated for his injuries and released. River Falls crash victim identified; driver critical Authorities have named Tara J. Lynch, 28, 1485 Wildcat Ct., River Falls, as the individual who died at the scene of single vehicle rollover early Sunday morning east of River Falls. Lynch was riding in a 2006 Mitsubishi sport utility vehicle driven by Adam J. Jain, 26, of Amery, that was westbound on Hwy. 29 near 790th Street when Jain lost control on a curve and skidded into the north ditch. The truck rolled several times through a hayfield before coming to rest in a residential yard at W7964 Hwy. 29. Both Lynch and Jain were ejected and were found laying within a short distance of the truck when emergency personnel arrived. Jain was flown by medical helicopter from the accident scene to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., where a on Monday morning a hospital spokesperson reporter that he was in critical condition. Gabriel named interim softball coach at UW-RF By Wheeler News Service Jody Gabriel has been named the interim softball coach at the University of River Falls. She'll fill in while a permanent replacement is found for Faye Perkins - who was named the interim dean of River Falls' College-of-Education and Professional Studies. Gabriel has spent the last four years as an assistant for the Falcons and she coached for two years at St/ Mary's of Minnesota, where her team won a league title in 2001. Gabriel, the former Jody Porter, played at UW-River Falls from 1994-'96. The 1994 Falcons made the NCAA Division 3 playoffs and they had the second-highest combined grade point average in the country.
