• River Falls woman airlifted from Pierce County accident scene

A River Falls woman is at Regions Hospital in St. Paul following a one-vehicle rollover accident near Beldenville Friday morning.

Lisa Linhart, 35, was a passenger in a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Lonnie Dunn, 32, River Falls; when the accident occurred.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department reported that the pickup was northbound on Highway 65 when it passed another northbound vehicle. However, when the truck merged back into the northbound lane Dunn lost control of the vehicle.

The truck entered the ditch and then rolled.

Sheriff's Department officials say that Linhart was thrown from the truck. She was airlifted by LifeLink III helicopter from the scene to Regions Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Dunn was taken to the River Falls Area Hospital by the Ellsworth Ambulance Service where he was treated and released.

Linhart's condition is not known at this time, but as soon as it is available an update will be posted.

The Ellsworth Police and Fire departments assisted on the scene. Officials say the accident is under investigation.
