Update: Monday motorcycle crash kills River Falls man James Nobley, 32, of River Falls was killed Monday night when his motorcycle crashed into a ditch just north of 690th Avenue in River Falls Township. The man was traveling north on County Road E when his motorcycle left the road on the east side and overturned in a corn field, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, who were notified of the accident at 7:19 p.m. Nobley was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Katina Pease, 31, of River Falls was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undetermined injuries. Neither victim was wearing a helmet, authorities said. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash. River Falls Fire and Ambulance also assisted at the scene. Published 07:32 May-05-09 | TOP |
