Kind plans listening sessions
U.S. Rep. Ron Kind (D-Wis.) will hold three town hall meetings the week of June 6. One of the sessions will be Thursday, June 9, in River Falls.
U.S. Rep. Ron Kind (D-Wis.) will hold three town hall meetings the week of June 6. One of the sessions will be Thursday, June 9, in River Falls.
The sessions are open to any topic residents wish to discuss.
“I know that keeping in touch with my constituents is the key to being an effective representative in Washington,” said Kind. “That is why I hold listening sessions across the Third Congressional District.”
He urged residents to share their thoughts and views and to attend to find out more about his work in Washington.
The sessions are:
Monday, June 6: 9:30-11 a.m., Shullsburg City Hall, 190 N. Judgment St., Shullsburg; and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., County Boardroom, 111 S. Jefferson St., Lancaster.
Thursday, June 9: 10:30 a.m. to noon, River Falls Public Library, 140 Union St., River Falls.
