UW-RF alumni display art work

The UW-River Falls Art Department opens its fall Gallery 101 exhibition season with “UW-RF Alumni Exhibition 1.” The exhibition runs through Sept. 28.

The UW-River Falls Art Department opens its fall Gallery 101 exhibition season with “UW-RF Alumni Exhibition 1.” The exhibition runs through Sept. 28.

The artists involved have developed careers that involve commissions, national exhibitions, gallery representation, college teaching and international travel grant experiences. Media represented is drawings, color photographs, paintings, ceramic sculptural vessels and mixed media sculpture.

Included in the exhibition are Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates David East of Baltimore, Md.; Brett Kallusky of Minneapolis; Lee Salminen of St. Paul, Joseph Smolinski of New Haven, Conn.; and Rhonda Willers of Elk Mound who is teaching Introduction to Clay and Introduction to Art at UW-RF.

Gallery 101 is located in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building on campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2-4 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, contact the UW-RF Art Department at 715-425-3266.
