I-94 semi- rollover cleared
A semi rollover that closed the eastbound I-94 exit onto Hwy. 29 east of Menomonie for more than two hours Thursday morning has been cleared and the road reopened.
ELK MOUND -- A semi rollover that closed the eastbound I-94 exit onto Hwy. 29 for more than two hours Thursday morning has been cleared and the road reopened.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the crash at 7:05 a.m.
The Patrol said an eastbound semi-truck driven by Hardeep Singh, 34, of Burnsville, Minn., was entering eastbound Hwy. 29 when the truck overturned, blocking both eastbound lanes of 29.
Singh suffered only minor injuries but the road remained closed while salvage crews worked to remove the truck.
Deputies from Dunn County Sheriff's Department assisted, along with Elk Mound firefighters and the Dunn County Highway Department.
