Boyceville man arrested for OWI after hit and run involving hayride
The State Patrol arrested a Boyceville man about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, shortly after he allegedly struck a haywagon carrying passengers in the St. Croix County village of Wilson.
The State Patrol arrested a Boyceville man about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, sometime after he allegedly struck a haywagon carrying passengers in the St. Croix County village of Wilson.
Joseph A Lynum, 38, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense, after he was involved in a hit and run crash.
Lynum allegedly struck a tractor pulling a hay wagon with a number of passengers on it. Lynum initially stopped, then left the scene.
A trooper was in the vicinity and located the vehicle on County Road K in the town of Stanton, Dunn County.
Following a field test, Lynum was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, 6th offense, operating after revocation, 3rd offense, and a probation hold.
Lynum was transported to the Dunn County Jail.
