Christian Community Home resident Ruth Ladd celebrated her 107th birthday at CCH in Hudson. The party included a slide show, cake ice cream, music and plenty of reminiscing.

Ladd spent most of her life in Illinois and moved to Hudson with her late husband Chauncey in 1986. The couple moved to Pine Ridge on the CCH campus in July 1997. Chauncey died June 7, 2003, a month short of his 99th birthday.
