SPRING VALLEY – Three Spring Valley School District teachers will not be returning this fall.

In a board meeting earlier this month, Patti Wolf, Elementary Special Education teacher resigned and Ann Hill, High School Family and Consumer Education (FACE) teacher, had her position non-renewed.

“I didn’t quit,” Hill said. “I presented my statement to the Board they deliberated and came back with a no.” Wolf declined comment.

Superintendent David Wellington said Hill’s action was for budgetary reasons. No replacement is planned, meaning Spring Valley will go without FACE or Home Economics next fall. He said a replacement will be named for Wolf.

Hill and Wolf will join Jeff Carver in saying goodbye to Spring Valley. Carver, a Middle School/High School English teacher announced his resignation earlier this year. The Board already announced Patrick Houlton as his replacement.
