Kids Fishing Contest, 9 a.m.-noon. Piers at Willow River State Park, Hudson. Registration at 8:30am, entry fee is $1.00, sign up by the dam and receive grab bag. Three age divisions, shore fishing only. 6 and under fish from 9am-9:45 am. 7-9 year olds fish from 10:00am-10:45am. 10-12 year olds fish from 11:00am-11:45am. Bait provided, chance to practice casting and receive expert instructions. If you don’t have a pole we will provide you with one. Each age group fishes for 45 minutes and prizes are awarded afterwards for the biggest fish, the smallest fish, and the most fish. Sponsored by OWLs and the St. Croix Sportsman Alliance.
