Change of venue ruling expected in Schaffhausen case
HUDSON -- A motion for change of venue filed by the defense is expected to be among several set for a ruling Thursday morning, Jan. 17, in the Aaron Schaffhausen murder case. Clerk of Court Lori Meyer expects either moving the trial to another county or bringing in a jury from another county would cost St. Croix about $200,000.
