Emergency burning restrictions for northwest Wisconsin counties hit by last summer’s severe windstorm will end at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, May 24 in DNR fire protection areas.The ban was in effect for portions of Burnett, Douglas, Polk and Washburn counties since April 6, 2012.
