The church is working with Energy Concepts Inc. which subcontracted with Steiner Electric, and River Falls Municipal Utilities to install the panels, with the help of a WPPI grant.

Romero was the group's host and interpreter, Hieb led the mission trip. Hieb and Lind were among a handful of group members who opted to stay for the conference before returning home. The rest of the group returned home immediately after the kidnapping.

Pastor Larry Szyman of Faith Community Church in Hudson is the initial member of a new Chaplains Service set up at the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department. Two more chaplains have joined the service since its inception in November and two more are expected in the spring.
