TOWN OF CLIFTON -- A 29-year-old River Falls woman was hospitalized Tuesday after a crash in rural Prescott.

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were called at 7:05 a.m. to County Road QQ and Highway 29 for an auto crash. Molly Sylvander was reportedly ejected from a vehicle at the scene and found laying in the south ditch one-eighth of a mile west of the 29/QQ intersection.

Sylvander was driving a 1997 GMC Jimmy heading westbound on 29. She went to pass another motorist, lost control, entered the ditch and rolled the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

She was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul by River Falls EMS.

A spokeswoman from Regions said Sylvander was in fair condition Tuesday afternoon.

Pierce County was assisted by Prescott Police, Prescott Fire, River Falls EMS and Pierce County Highway Department.

About 20 minutes later, deputies responded to crash at W7905 Highway 29 in rural River Falls for a one-vehicle rollover crash. No one was injured in that crash.
