A 48-year-old worker is resting in Regions Hospital in St. Paul following a construction accident in the town of Hudson Monday morning.

Truck-car crash blocks I-94 bridge early Saturday

A crash involving a car and a semi-truck on I-94 in Hudson early Saturday morning resulted in the closing of the westbound bridge of the freeway forcing travelers to be rerouted on Highway 35 north and across the Stillwater bridge.

County Fair is this weekend

The St. Croix County Fair has a four-day run in Glenwood City beginning Thursday and continuing through Sunday.

Community band keeps music talent fresh

St. Croix Valley Community Band This year 16 trumpet players showed up to be a part of the St. Croix Valley Community Band. The result meant the program included several feature parts for the instruments. In Thursday evenings concert in Hudson, one song, featured from the left David Thomas, St. Paul, Roy Soper, Stillwater and Connie Root, Hudson.

The St. Croix Community Band has been making music in the area since 1981.
