Wal-Mart theft may be part of area ring
According to a Hudson Police Department report, eight rings were stolen from the jewelry case at Wal-Mart Sunday evening. Store manager Wally Harding reported the theft Monday at about 8:30 a.m. Harding told police the store's video tape showed forced entry by a black male who was accompanied by a white female. They were standing in front of the jewelry case when the male tried to open the case by sliding something down through the top. After this was unsuccessful, he forced the case's door open, breaking the lock. The male removed eight rings from their boxes and both the male and female left the store.
