Auxiliary gears up for annual pie social
The Christian Community Home of Hudson Auxiliary will hold its annual Pie Social Saturday, Oct. 9 from 12:30-3 p.m. at the Christian Community Home, 1320 Wisconsin St. Pie, provided by the auxiliary members, friends and family of the nursing residents and anyone interested in helping, will be available by the piece with ice cream and a beverage in the Atrium of the nursing home or whole to take out.
Nursing program at WITC accepting applications
A limited number of applications for enrollment in general education courses toward an associate degree in Nursing at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College will be received on Oct. 20. Students should expect to enroll in courses beginning either spring or summer 2000. Applicants must apply in person and, if accepted, should plan to begin clinical nursing courses in June 2001.
