More blood donors needed
The Bloodmobile will be at the United Methodist Church Monday, May 3, from noon-6 p.m. All donors must be registered by 5:45; walk-ins are welcome.



Badger State representatives selected
Hudson High School has selected the junior class delegates who will attend Badger State this year. Badger Girls and Boys State are noted throughout the United States as a program promoting Americanism. The primary objective of the sessions is to help students experience the American social and governmental systems. Among other activities, participants conduct mock local and state elections.



Register for summer swimming lessons
Registration for Hudson School District summer swim lessons will be Saturday, April 24, 8:30-10:30 a.m., in the Hudson High School cafeteria. Lessons are open to students who have completed kindergarten and are currently enrolled in Hudson schools. Signup is on a first-come, first-served basis.



Family Resource Center offers classes in Baldwin
The recently opened Family Resource Center in Baldwin is offering a lineup of classes for St. Croix County families. Register at the center, 857 Main St., Baldwin, or by calling St. Croix County Family Living Agent Mary Lestrud at (715) 684-3301, ext. 5.



Scouts collect food, sell candy
On Saturday, April 17, Hudson area Cub Scout packs distributed grocery bags for the annual Scouting for Food drive. On Saturday, April 24, area Boy Scout troops will start collecting those bags of food at 8:30 a.m. and donate them to the Hudson food shelf.
