Over the past year, the School District of Hudson has been working to check and upgrade, as needed, the electronic systems that could be effected by the Y2K computer bug. These checks and upgrades are expected to continue right up until the end of 1999.
Jazz concert is tonight
The Middle School and High School will present a joint Jazz Ensemble Concert in the Middle School multipurpose room.
Mentorship program available at HHS
The Hudson High School Mentorship Program is open to second semester seniors who wish to choose a career field in which to work with a mentor. Students will also research the career and learn present and probable issues about the career field. The class will meet to help the students explore professional issues, workplace etiquette, individual styles, teamwork and other related topics. Students will then spend time on the job site with their mentors gaining hands-on experience. Students will be graded and may earn up to one-half of a credit.
Joan Allen attends nutrition conference
Hudson School Food Service Director Joan Allen attended the annual Nutrition Conference at Stoney Creek Inn Conference Center in Mosinee. The meeting is jointly sponsored by the Wisconsin School Food Service Association and the Department of Public Instruction. The conference brings together nutrition professionals from schools and child care organizations statewide.
