Cagers set for another run
When the Raider boys basketball team, which has gone to state for the past two seasons, opened practice on Monday, the emphasis was on fundamentals. Here Coach Tim Scharfenberg, faking a pass in the background, runs a drill where defenders such as Tim Lau, right, work on denying the opponent a passing lane. Swimmers take eighth in state 400 relay
The highest finish for the Raider girls swim team at the state meet was eighth, but that doesn't show just how successful the local swimmers were.
Schuna is all-BRC, all-District
He didn't even play football as a freshman, but Hudson offensive and defensive lineman John Schuna earned all-Big Rivers Conference and all-District honors last week.
