Holidays begin at County Market
County Market held its annual Holiday Open House this past weekend.The event featured a variety of local talent with Junior Girl Scout Troop 433 and Brownie Troop 1732 singing Christmas carols and Hudson High School band members playing holiday music. A well-attended story hour for children also was held. County Market's food court was decorated for the season and showcased numerous holiday party food ideas. Everything from fruit, vegetable, meat and shrimp trays to a complete turkey dinner was displayed. The store gave away sugar and held prize drawings. The grand prize was a $500 travel agency gift certificate. Food court manager Don Kudrle said he's grateful to everyone who participated in making the holiday open house a special one.
