Menards' expansion is underway
Maertens Brenny is the general contractor on the 16,500 square foot addition to Menards' Hudson store. The expansion includes retail space, a parking lot addition and lumberyard expansion. The side and back walls of the addition are Fabcon panels; each is 12 inches thick, 8 feet wide and 31 feet tall. Work is expected to be completed by mid-February.

Training on the job and more
Manager Luis Campero, of River Falls, and employee April Hudson, of Osceola, welcome drivers to the new Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Gateway Court in Hudson. The three bay shop has been open since Nov. 4 employing nine people. The firm is still hiring for an on-the-job training program called Super Pro Certification. Valvoline is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
