Patricia Bruhn's kitchen looks pretty average, but anyone who has dined on her cooking knows that what comes out of it is anything but average.



Volunteer receives award
Hudson resident Kim Ball was presented with the Nutrition Excellence Award at the American Cancer Society's Annual Meeting of the Minnesota Council. The award is presented for outstanding accomplishments in cancer control through the promotion of healthful nutrition and diet. Ball, a registered dietician, has been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society since 1992.



Blood donors should keep hemoglobin up
Referring to the picture of the Revs. Thom Nustad and Larry Szyman, Dr. Jeanne Diefenbach, Blood Drive coordinator, said, "A recent study has shown that giving blood regularly is very healthy for men. Men normally have higher hemoglobin levels than women.



The season of giving begins
