Former county board member Bill Oemichen, who is now a state administrator, joins three administrative coordinators from other counties, and the deputy director of the Council of State Governments as finalists for the position of St. Croix County administrative coordinator.

The five finalists are Oemichen, administrator of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection's Division of Trade and Consumer Protection; Frank Pascarella, Polk County administrative coordinator/ finance director; Brent Miller, Marquette County administrative coordinator; Bambridge Peterson, Manitowoc County administrative coordinator; and Shari Hendrickson, deputy executive director and CEO of the Council of State Governments.

More than 60 people applied for the St. Croix County job; a screening committee of County Board members whittled the number to five.

Interviews are planned for Dec. 6. The interview committee plans to recommend a candidate to the County Board on Dec. 14.

The new coordinator will replace John Krizek, who resigned in September.
