St. Croix Economic Development Corporation is accepting nominations for its annual business of the year awards program. This is the sixth year that the EDC will honor deserving businesses that are located throughout St. Croix County. Hudson woman named president/CEO of Arthritis Foundation Deborah Sales Maysack of Hudson has been named the new president and chief executive of the Arthritis Foundation Minnesota Chapter. She assumed the post Nov. 1 after a nationwide search revealed the person most qualified for the job, Sales Maysack, was at the Minnesota Chapter's own offices where she was already serving as interim president since January. Hudson banker attends association meeting Kenneth A. Heiser, president and chief executive officer of The First National Bank of Hudson, recently attended a meeting of the American Bankers Association's Community Bankers Council in Washington, D.C. Heiser represents Wisconsin community banks on the council, which meets several times each year to provide input to the Association on issues affecting the nation's community banks. |
