Glen and Kaia Olson, 631 Front St., have decorated their home for the holidays. The home is one of many in the Hudson area with extensive light displays this year. The Olson display also includes music for passersby. Front Street is parallel to Hwy 35 near the I-94 interchange.

Badlands Snowboard Park has been making snow all week in preparation for their season kick-off party Friday night. A racing competition, band, bonfire and snowboard vendors will be there. Snow-making is possible once temperatures are under 25 degrees. Badlands has seven snow-making machines. The sno-tubing area should be open next week.
