Man critically injured in pool
A Hopkins, Minn., man was injured early Sunday morning as the result of a diving accident at the Super 8 Motel pool. Gheorghe Codoreanu was transported to Hudson Medical Center at 1:15 a.m. and transferred to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Codoreanu remained in critical condition at press time on Tuesday afternoon.
Town caucuses begin tonight with St. Joe
The town of St. Joseph caucus is tonight, followed by the town of Hudson's on Saturday and the town of Troy's on Jan. 23. The caucuses will determine the slate of candidates for the spring election. The towns of Hudson, St. Joseph and Troy each have town chairs, clerks, treasurers and two supervisors whose terms expire this year. The towns of Hudson and Troy also have constables with expired terms.
