Administrative News & Views
We continually strive to make North Hudson Elementary School a better place for children. Students need to feel that they are important members of our school, and much emphasis has been placed on providing students with a positive and safe school environment. I would like to share with you programs that we have developed and implemented at North Hudson that help to make students feel like valued members of our school community. By reinforcing a sense of belonging to the school community, demonstrating and reinforcing positive social behavior, we feel our students will be more effective learners.



St. Croix Central has artist in residence
St. Croix Central Elementary School in Roberts is hosting artist in residence Patty Kuebker Johnson during January. The purpose of the artist program is to create a hands-on experience for school and community members who are interested in fibers.



No school Monday
Hudson schools will be closed Monday for a teacher in-service day. Classes resume Tuesday, Jan. 19.



'Kids Who Care' help needy families
Hudson Middle School students are in the midst of an ongoing program to help families in need in St. Croix County. Each of the nine houses at the school has a "Kids Who Care" committee whose members organize classmates to help nine county families experiencing financial difficulties. Each month a social worker delivers supplies the students have collected to the families.
