Teachers, Boosters entertain offers from casino partnership

At least two Hudson organizations, and probably more, are wrestling over whether they should accept offers from the partnership that wants to open a casino in town.

City looks at nude dancing ordinance

City officials say there is little or nothing on the ordinance books to allow them to take action against the new Centerfolds Cabaret nude strip club which opened in downtown Hudson last week.

$1 million is limit to city's casino lawsuit insurance

The city of Hudson has $1 million of insurance protection in the event that a jury awards damages to Four Feathers Casino Joint Venture in its $175 million lawsuit against the city.



Authorities are tight-lipped about Friday drug bust

A drug bust of some magnitude apparently took place in the town of St. Joseph Friday afternoon but authorities involved are being tight lipped about the situation.



Deb and Steve Staberg Old West is alive for Stabergs

Deb and Steve Staberg shed their 20th century clothes and dressed in authentic clothing from the period 1865 to 1900 including their boots, hats and firearms. When not experiencing the Old West, Steve works for the Hudson School District. Deb works in the district attorney's office.

Six years ago when her husband Steve became involved with the Old West Society of Minnesota, Deb Staberg said "no way." It was just another one of the many hobbies Steve had enjoyed through the years.
