Man injured in Saturday motorcycle crash

An accident on I-94 Saturday (Feb 6, 1999)

An accident on I-94 Saturday afternoon left John R. Patoile, 55, of River Falls in critical condition. He was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. The accident attracted a lot of attention because of the sunny day, and many people were out and about attending Hot Air Affair events. Contrary to some rumors, no hot air balloons were in the sky at the time of the accident.

A collision between a motorcycle and a car on I-94 early Saturday afternoon left one man in critical condition. The Wisconsin State Highway Patrol in Eau Claire said John R. Patoile, 55, of River Falls was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with serious injuries.

Man accused of taking Jeep, Arctic Cats

When the Minnesota State Patrol stopped a stolen Jeep towing a stolen trailer and snowmobiles, it turned out to be carrying other items that were reported missing after recent burglaries in North Hudson.
