Accident on HWY 35 at County N Another crash at 35 and N

A firefighter pries open the hood of a car belonging to Lacy Thornberg, Walhalla, N.D., to disconnect the horn after a crash on Hwy. 35 at County N. The three-vehicle accident at 10:52 a.m. Saturday sent seven people to the hospital. According to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department, Thornberg, 20, was turning north onto Hwy. 35 from Stageline Road when her car was struck by a truck driven by Edward Arneson, 35, Roberts, who was southbound on 35. The collision spun Arneson's truck into the northbound lane, where it was hit by a van driven by Amy Olson, 27, Stillwater, Minn. A passenger in the Thornberg vehicle, April Schurman, 20, Walhalla, N.D., a passenger in the Arneson vehicle, Steven Seekamp, 29, River Falls, passengers in the Olson vehicle, Alex Olson, 2 months, and Elizabeth Olson, 11, plus the drivers of all of the vehicles were transported to Hudson Medical Center by ambulances.
