Dolores M. Dopkins, 80
Dolores M. (Wescheke) Dopkins, 80, died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Rio Grande Hospital, McAllen, Texas.Funeral will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 15, at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Visitation will be at the church from noon to 4 p.m. Private interment will be Friday, April 16, at St. Bridget Cemetery. Cashman Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Michael Mikoff, 85
Michael Mikoff, 85, of River Falls died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at the Kinnic Long Term Care facility.He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific and was the Past Master of Wyoming Lodge #492 Free and Accepted Masons in Bronx, N.Y. He was also active in the River Falls Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alice Woodbury. He is survived by his wife, Matilda; his children: Allan of Clearwater, Fla., Christine and Larry Albertson of River Falls, and William of Lancaster, Pa.; and a grandson, William, Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, P.O. Box 487, Hammond, Wis., 54015. Cashman Mortuary assisted the family.
Lillian M. Bullis, 90
Lillian Marie (Gorder) Bullis, 90, of River Falls, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at The Lutheran Home.She was born July 3, 1908, in Hamlin County, S.D., near Estelline. She spent much of her younger years living in North Dakota and South Dakota, including the communities of Lidgerwood, N.D., Veblen, S.D. and Belle Fourche, S.D. She spent many years in Wichita, Kan., where she lived until moving to River Falls. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge of the Black Hills since 1946, along with holding membership in the Sons of Norway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bullis; her parents; 10 brothers and sisters; and one grandchild. She is survived by two daughters: Allegra and Robert Swanson of River Falls and Rosalyn Laney of San Antonio; one brother, Raymond Gorder of Rapid City, S.D.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons. Funeral was Tuesday, April 13, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Montgomery and the Rev. David Kebschull officiating. Joyce Breen was soloist and Carol Prince was organist. Funeral services will also be held in Wichita on Thursday, April 15, at Reformation Lutheran Church. The Rev. Gerald Mansholt will officiate there. Interment will be in Wichita Park Cemetery. Arrangements were handled through Thomas Ellis Funeral Home, Hastings, Minn., Bill Nelson, director.
