World atrocities everywhere, so why bomb now?

TO THE EDITOR:

Why Kosovo? Why are we bombing Yugoslavia?

The United States, behind the thin veil of NATO, has attacked a sovereign nation because of domestic "atrocities."

To be sure, reports coming out of Yugoslavia are horrible; but so, too, are the reports from Rwanda, Angola, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Why aren't we bombing these countries?

There are systematic "ethnic cleansing" policies being carried out around the world. China is killing or imprisoning Tibetans right now. Should we start bombing Beijing, too?

(Wait a minute.they stole our nuclear warhead technology and bought our missile guidance technology. They could bomb us.)

I encourage all readers to call senators Kohl and Feingold and Rep. Kind and ask, "Why Kosovo?"
