School site questions produce uncertainty

TO THE EDITOR:

Before I can vote on the school land deal there are questions that nobody seems to know the answers to.

If the school is put in Mann Valley, do the homes on Dry Run Road get a vote if we want to join the city or not?

Some people have said yes you have the choice. Others have said if the school goes there you must become part of the city.

If we must annex what are the costs to us? I mean, actual dollar amounts for water, sewer, streets and whatever else is necessary for this process.

At one of the informational meetings it was answered we would not have to join. At the other one, the superintendent hinted we would be brought in.

The answers to these questions will have a bearing on some for voting on the land deal.
