'Cartoons for Computers' contest held at St. Bridget's

During October, the Dairy Council of Wisconsin sponsored a "Cartoons for Computers" contest, with prizes being awarded to schools nationwide that showed the largest increase in milk consumption over September's consumption.

St. Bridget Parish School students participated. The winners will be announced in December.

Winners will receive money for computers and kitchen equipment.

In conjunction with the contest, the St. Bridget cafeteria staff sponsored a "Milk Mustache Contest." It was held Oct. 23.

Parent Nalene Sanford, with assistance from her mother and mother-in-law, conducted the contest. Items furnished by the Dairy Council and Dairy Promotion Board were awarded.

The contest was divided into four categories: the biggest, the smallest, the messiest and the funniest. There were three winners for each category.

Winners were awarded a coupon for a free milk and cookie from the cafeteria.
