More help still needed for Westside playground

TO THE EDITOR:

I would like to call attention to all the volunteers who helped make the Westside Elementary Craft Fair, Bake Sale and Carnival a success.

Parents, grandparents, students, and staff pulled together for the common cause of raising funds for a handicap accessible playground for our community.

We would like to acknowledge the generosity of the National Guard Armory for the use of their facilities and Greenwood Elementary PTO for loaning us equipment for the carnival.

There's more work yet to be done. We still have a long way to go to reach our fundraising goal.

With continued support like we've experienced so far, the dream for a community playground will become a reality. Be a part of building a dream for our children's future.

If you would like to help in any way, contact Westside Elementary at 425-1815.
