Football sculpture displayed at UW-RF

UW-River Falls senior art student Justin Lerfald mixed his interests in art and coaching when he created a life-size metal sculpture of a football player.

His unique piece will be on display Nov. 22-26 in the Chalmer Davee Library on campus.

The sculpture stands about 5'10" and is made of junked parts from cars and other items.

It can be found standing in the middle of the library at the back wall and may be seen during the library's regular hours.

Lerfald, a broad area art major and coaching minor, is a member of the Falcon football team and is a native of Kenyon, Minn.
