FIREFIGHTERS from three departments attacked the fire from three different angles. Portable drop-tanks were used to provide water supplies for the pumpers. Volunteers exited two local taverns when the fire was discovered about 7:30 p.m. and assisted in removing 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, tools and other inventory from two garages adjacent the burning lumber yard.

PLUM CITY - A building housing the main office and a display room, plus another for storage at Plum City Lumber and Sport were destroyed by fire last Saturday.
