How much has the Wildcat hockey team improved this season? Last year the Cats didn't pick up their sixth win of the season until the regional playoffs in February and finished the year with a record of 6-16-0. This season, the Cats posted their sixth win before New Year's Day.

Final days of 1999 Sunset on 20th century

The last few days of 1999 produced some of the year's most vivid sunsets. This was the view from the parking lot of UW-RF's Knowles Center shortly after 4:30 p.m. last Wednesday, where fans at the Northern Badger Wrestling Classic took advantage of the unseasonable warmth to catch one of the final sunsets of the century.
